If you have always eaten your lobster this way, then your first comment was incorrect, i.e. cooking a live lobster. You are SUPPOSED to kill the lobster humanely first by squering the lobster through the brain which kills it outright before boiling it (forgive the spelling if incorrect). That is how professional cooks do it. You will upset the Animal Rights Group. It is downright cruel to cook lobster without killing it first.
