You don't have a clue what you are talking about, do you. I am an economics major and live in Europe. Which cap and trade systems are you referring to in specific? and "moving jobs to Africa", dude, I wish we would be able to create increased employment in Africa with intentional methods, not to speak of doing it as a side effect with creating an emissions trading system. What sectors do you mean by "moving companies overseas"?

Cap and Trade didn't work in Europe it just sent manufacturing jobs to Africa countries. Cap and Trade won't work here either, it will move even more companies overseas.

As usual, Rep. Bachmann is absolutely right. Many people cannot afford to conserve, particularly when there are no alternatives. Punishing them with stupid, uber-Left legislation isn't the answer. Gimmick.
