  • yes indeed! jack miller bbq sauce. EVD was brand new when I came home from the service! Carencro track under the trees my cousins horses running, sitting on the VW on the side of the track. Little Man M man I'm old. But happy. Bon Chance

  • I spent many a Sunday and ate many a pork chop sandwich at a bush track called Lindsay Downs. To this day my favorite smell is Bengay, the horse barn was always soaked in liniment. Some of the craziest things I've ever seen happened there.

And they were very serious about "anything goes." I met the infamous Sylvester Carmouche at a bush track in Abbeville after he was banned from racing. He was still riding the bush tracks years later.

  • I love this video. It is 100% accurate. Those were the good ole days when you could go to the bush track on a Sunday to watch and bet on the match races :)
