If you were not aware [WHICH YOU SHOULD BE BECAUSE YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING RICO'S VIDEOS 24/7] Flynn has sold his soul to Clayton in order to protect his friends.
Other background factors include Flynn's developing romantic feelings towards Milo, prompted by Wolf's actions.

Milo returns from Kenya. Flynn and him catch up, but Flynn seems upset and Milo asks him what's wrong. Flynn tells him that he loves him, and Milo returns these feelings [ever since Wolf, what did you expect? Flynn and Wolf are two sides of the same person, people]. But Milo's confused as to why Flynn's so upset about it, and he says he only has a few more weeks to live.
Milo's upset and swears to fight against Clayton - he will not let the snake take anyone else that he loves away from him.

NO FLYLO BASHING PLEASE. As I said, Cale and Milo/Kiba and Flynn are soulmates. This does not prevent them from feeling love for others, or having flings. Cale is living proof. Kiba and Tarzan also. Milo and Flynn have been very good friends for a very long time, being there for each other, etc. It's only natural that if Wolf makes advances that Flynn is bound to follow. In case people have forgotten, Flynn [or rather, Wolf for the most part] is PANSEXUAL.

Another important note - Milo blurs the lines between Wolf and Flynn slightly. While there is still a large, large fracture [as shown briefly in the video], Milo can help Flynn let go without the need for Wolf taking over.

This was beautiful! I'm also so glad you explained the whole "soulmates can love other people" thing, because while I've grown to adore Milo and Flynn together, it always gave me a twitch becuz of the whole soulmates deal. Now I'm free to enjoy Flylo awesomeness. Back to the video, I agree with everyone else - you are the queen at putting emotion in your work. I always walk away feeling something different than before and many times, in tears. ;)
