I think there is some questions about what must be costumes by some of the people, including the announcer.

I was unclear, is this a class in California doing cultural learning, or a class in japan with native speakers participating, or a foreigner's school?

this is pretty funny because i my japanese class just learned how to do this and its the exact same song thing. but weve only done it once which is weird cus were in cali too. hmmmmm but awesome anyways

I grew up in Japan and I always thought it was pretty cool that they had to do that before they started their work/school day.

Interesting, your Japanese class does something completely different from mine...We do stuff like that but not all the time, although we bow and say good morning then bow and say good bye everyday.

hah this was my first reaction to japanese school. I was like, "we exercise before meetings... wtf?"
