@gooz38 C'mon, man. I'm sure you can troll harder than that. You can do it. I believe in you. Even if you become infected with STD's, believe that you're not infected by it even if it's life threatening.

Kyuudo is just majestic... And beautiful form of archery, though it's not effective... But it ain't no problem, because it wasn't meant to be. By the way, what was this white creature in the background? Albino dog?

Im interested in the military applications of this bow, can anyone tell me what was the standard draw weight for war and what was the standard arrow weight. Could a military bow and arrow punch through japanese armour?

what is the pull weight on that bow? good show of dicipline and respect for the art. ignore the negative comments and keep practicing.
this form is not meant for the battlefield, or even hunting. This is called "kyudo", which is a meditative technique closely tied to Buddhism. The point of this, isnt even to hit the target. This form is often compared to sitting meditation practiced by Zen Buddhists. With respect to the speed, the archer is meditating, so of course it is slow. Kyujutsu, or the military application of japanese archery is what you are confusing this with...which to my knowledge isnt really practiced anymore.
