@StanleySindler There is a review online right now that says readability is on par with the kindle dx, but the ipad far outperforms the kindle in every possible way besides that. I am going to try an ipad this weekend.

@StanleySindler well i guess both machines have thier pros and cons for one on the ipad u can bring up the dictionary while ur reading a very useful feature (At least for me because i don't know some words in a book im reading) and as u said for the kindle it would be the e-ink display which makes it feel more book like.

@mtechfan ipad is great but if you want an ereader, get the Kindle.

Amazing how Apple didn't even think about giving some credits to Classics, the App that they stole the whole book-shelf idea from. Bah, really dissapointed.
Text books could save a college student a lot of money on here

Its about that kindle has a E-ink display.
Ipad has a TFT glossy capacitive display so I think its not the best option for reading e-books.
