DID NOT WORK ON MY LAPTOP YOU SHIT HEAD

  • @staffjw

Dont blame me, you infected your laptop not me. if it did not work then you have other issues with your lap top.

  • Thanks for your help. Ended up doing a system restore which enabled the internet again. Everything seems to be fine now apart from the fact I can't delete the TDSS Killer icon. Says access is denied and I don't have permission??

  • @simbaone

should be able to delete after a reboot.

  • Yup. Did it all exactly the same as you did. So strange it's done it's own thing almost right at the end of the process. Will restoring the machine work?

  • @simbaone

Disable system restore and then restart the computer and run mbam. If that does not work, run mbam in safemode, not safemode with networking. Try and update mbam if you can. mbam is malwarebytes.

If it does work make sure you reinable system restore and create a new restore point.

When you renamed the two icons as shown in the tutorial, did you left click in an open area to set them after renaming them one at a time.

One i renamed 123..exe and the other i renamed 321.exe, then reboot the computer.

  • Yup. Followed all the steps exactly as shown in the tutorial. Worked a dream until the restart after Malwarebytes. Safe Mode with Networking isn't working either. I'm thinking of transferring all files to an external drive and then doing a system restore?

  • @simbaone

My first question is, did you follow all of the steps in my tutorial.

Second, Did you try safe mode with networking.
