Every cat with that problem has a crooked head. exactly what is this syndrom?

Polly, a cat who died from unrelated causes last year, aged 22, made a complete recovery from vestibular disease. She was put on antibio's and given lots of TLC by me. I did some very gentle physio: holding her front legs while I knelt a little way from her and encouraging her to slowly walk toward me on her hind legs, the way you would teach a child to walk, being careful to do this little and often.

OMG! Thank you so much for posting these videos! My 20 year old cat had an episode 1 month ago and after extensive blood work, ECG, ultra-sounds and $1,500.00 of emergency vet bills NOT ONE OF THE 5 vets that saw her even mentioned this. After seeing the videos on YT - I am convinced, this is what she has. I could not believe how she could be falling down, head tilted, walking sideways on MOnday and on Friday- able to stand. She has recovered but is not the same. I want to get her ears check

My cat is in its third day of recovery. The vet has him on antibiotics and steroids. I am happy to hear that they do recover from this; I was beginning to mourn the loss of the cat I once knew. Your cat is beautiful, and I'm glad he is doing better.
My cat Gligli (video above) is having this symptoms since yesterday. I took her to the vet, she took some injections and today she's slightly better. I still have to take her to the neurologist for further exams. How is your cat now? How long he took to get better? Did he got better at all?

My cat is doing alot better now. Hes playfull and can walk normal again. But his head is still tilted. It took him mabey a whole month for him to recover and to act the way he used to. Like i said, hes not 100% recovered, but hes doind alot better than when he first got the Disease.

I hope your beautiful cat is recovering nicely from this terrible syndrome. My cat, Sally, is still wobbly after an attack 10 days ago. This is the second attack for her. She was back to normal within hours of her first Vestibular Disease attack. Just have to ride it out, but having her inner ear checked from time to time. Thanks for sharing this video. It helps knowing how common this is.
