Anyways, there is NO MORE controversial subject on fat loss than cheat days. Everyone does it, all the cool kids are doing it and you've been thinking about it, don't lie.

You've been training HARD, eating RIGHT and all you think of on a Friday Night is a big old PIZZA. You're on a diet and you're thinking about cheating.

The question is, are cheat meals so bad for you? Well the answer is it depends on how far you take it. Its normal when eating like a bird to want to eat a lot. The problem is most people go overboard, fall off track and blow up like a blimp. HOWEVER, for those chosen few that are smart and follow this video, you can use cheats to get MORE results.

FIRST, lets be clear on who should NOT have cheat meals

Who SHOULDN'T Cheat
- People who gain fat easily, if you struggle with weight, sorry chief
-Most women as your work out intensity isn't sufficient to burn off the extra calories
- People who are pretty darn fat (your belly jiggles when you jump up and down)
- Those who have psychological problems with food. If you dream Big Macs, this ain't for you.

Anyway, a cheat day or preferably meal can be used effectively for those that need to spike their metabolism after a period of hardcore dieting. This works for chronic undereaters who might potentially be wasting away their muscle. If you've been on a diet for over 8 weeks strick, have seen results, but have plateaued, and are feeling a little flat/overworked, a PLANNED cheat meal can work. Heres what you need to know:

Plan Your Cheat Day
I'd allow you to have a cheat day once every two weeks.

Don't Go Overboard
A cheat day example would be an ice cream cone, a couple slices of pizza and a beer, not a tub of Ben and Jerrys, a whole pizza and a keg. A good rule is that you have a ONE HOUR MAX on your cheat day to eat your chosen bad foods.

WORK OUT On Your Cheat Day
Let the cheat day FUEL your work out, work out early and then eat

The CLEANER the Better
Really what we are after are a boost in your metabolism. To get technical, I'd consume one gram of carb EXTRA for every pound of body weight. Say you weigh 200 pounds, you'd consume 200 grams EXTRA of carbs on your cheat day. This is 1 sweet potato, 1 cup brown rice, 2 slices of sprouted grain bread, a banana, and 1 cup of steel cut oats in ADDITION to your normal calories.

We use carbs to spike your metabolism for those that need a boost. This is one of the old tricks of bodybuilding. For the vast majority of people I'd say just eat clean to get lean, but if ya gotta cheat, these are the rules you should follow.

Remember, like in a relationship, cheating is alright, or some shit like that. I want to hear from YOU GUYS in the comment section whats the MOST you've eaten in one sitting. I shut down a sushi place. I'm serious. I shut it down, I'm not allowed back. And the yakuza are after me. But thats ok, I know kung fu.

    What setup do you recommend? I was thinking about doing half whey protein and half milk protein. And if I add a flavor but no sweetener, how does that work? It seems like some of those flavors would have to be sweet.

  • @realgeneralful Depends, if you want 100% PURE protein, get just the bulk 25 pounder, its the highest quality for the cheapest price. Otherwise go for 100% whey isolate, like a cross filtration. Flavours are sweetened with sucralose, and then you can double sweeten them, some flavours are unsweetened adn say that. Happy drinking!...Protein

  • Any body type should have atleast 1 cheat meal either once a week or once every 2 weeks. Bad info bro it actually keeps someone ON there diet by having something to look forward too. Been doing this for a while I go from 285 pound to 215 and vice versa with bodybuilding.

  • I cheat once a month & its usually for an event/celebration/reunion/holi­days thats it. I really don't like being the guy at the table eating all healthy shit while everyone else is eating rib tips, mac"n"cheese, pizza, fried chicken, & all that other tasty greasy stuff. Before I cheat I'm doing a 2 a day workout (HIIT/Cardio in the morning & Legs/Back weightlifting at late evening 1hr each). Next day is double Cardio day! Because the gym is usually closed during the winter holidays!

  • what kind of food would give you 1694 cal/day and 1456cal/day ?

  • Go to red lobsters and eat about 4 buscuits, 1 ceasar salad.. Then a full Cajun Chicken Pasta.. With a chocolate wave and vanilla icecream...

    All with water of coarse.. gotta watch the figure.. ;)
