http://ParaToys.com has been the largest manufacture of Quads in the industry for many years now. After training thousands of paramotor pilots, we know the quad is the safest way to train a new pilot because of its stability. Even experienced pilots find themselves in unusual circumstances from time to time and have launches go bad. The easiest way to counter that is with the extra stability of a fourth wheel. This video clearly demonstrates our point. If this pilot had been flying a quad, he would have flipped over with possible damage to himself and the machine. Instead, he is able to reset the wing and fly. For more detail on the ParaToys BlackHawk LowBoy II Quad http://ParaToys.com/quads.html

  • I've always wondered why people fly trikes. They roll over way to often... Just like a sports car, putting wheels to the far corners creates a stable platform. Even the best pilots are going to have off days or catch gusts, with the stability of a quad its not an issue.

  • Though a LowBoy II Quad can roll over, it is a lot less likely to do so. Once a trike starts to go over there is no stopping it!

  • Definitely no trikes could do that!!

  • It looks like the paraglider wing stayed inflated over him and he could have taken off even after all that. how does it re-open that quickly? Its obvious that this 4 wheel model is much more stable then the 3 wheeled ones, there are tons of clips of those flipping over.

  • So why do other companies make and sell trikes? I guess if you want to sell lots of parts to fix the roll overs, it makes sense!

  • Quads rule! Any experienced PPG pilot knows that.

  • This is true

If it were a three-trike tires, it would be a risk !,
