This is the second part of a concert which the composer and master oud player CİNUÇEN TANRIKORUR gave in April 1992 to mark the beginning of his 40th year as a composer. This was a very unusual concert as he personally presented the concert and announced the lyrics himself and instead of an ensemble of instruments, his oud was the only accompanying instrument to the group of singers. It was an unprecedented performance of singers with only one solo instrument, that of the composer himself.

Here Tanrıkorur plays an introductory improvisation in the makam Rast before the performance of the opening 'destan' ITRI in the same makam, whose lyrics are by the famous 20th century Turkish poet, YAYHA KEMAL.
