Official Entry of BBrC 1-2 to the upcoming Sikat Awards 2011 in completion of the requirements in Audio -- Video Techniques.

Synopsis:

"Kanlungan" is a video featuring a woman named Rodina who gave birth to normal child but not in a normal delivery. She is an office employee at the same time a wife and a mother. Everything is quite stable until she gave birth to her first baby named Lezhnina. As her daughter grows, with the help of Efraim, her husband, everything is in its total control just like every other ordinary family does, they go to park, do picnics together and have their leisure time as happy as it can be. Lezhninah is a playful little girl that just like the other kids out there. She is more comfortable in her mother's arm. She is happy seeing her mom beside her. Rodina, on the other hand, is giving her best effort to take care of her baby. But of course, every perfect picture does have a small crack that leads to a big breakdown. During Rodina's pregnancy, she is not careful about the foods and drinks she intakes. She became an irresponsible woman that time. She smoke and even drinks up liquors for some certain agendas. That is why when the time came that she is about to give birth and do the delivery, the doctors even her husband has a hard time accepting the fact that one of them, Lezhnina and Rodina, must sacrifice their life. Confused, Efraim whole heartedly accepted the situation because he had nothing to do to stop or at least to change what happened. After a long and hard time deciding on whose life must end, he came up with a decision that Rodina must face the consequences of the thing she started and almost ruined. His decision is a difficult one but he thought of the things that his wife had done in her pregnancy stage. But he didn't leave his wife's side during the time of the delivery until the time came that Rodina must bid goodbye. What had Lezhnina had saw and experienced, her mom's face, voice, smiles, care, love, hugs and kisses, everything is just an illusion. It is just a perception of her mind that her mom is beside her. She thinks that maybe if her mother didn't do the things she had done they can have a happy, loving and complete family. They can do the things that the other family does without hesitation and illusion.
