MSM: US Wars go Off the Record

Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced that contrary to what the schedule has been thus far, for US troops to hand over control to Afghan forces at the end of 2014, it might be happening more than a year earlier. Take a look at what Mitt Romney said last night. Now, there are some that may agree, you shouldn't tell the people you're fighting against when you're going to pull out troops but come on, with almost 100,000 troops in the country, it's not like you're going to take anyone by surprise! If the mainstream media already provides barely any coverage of our wars abroad, except for when big announcements like this are made, or when important anniversaries pass, you can bet that you're only going to know less about what our military and our CIA are doing in our names abroad in the future.

you have to tell everyone when you're pulling out troops because you're BROKE and LOST THE WAR.

If you won the war you could tell everyone then too: there'd be no opposition to fill in any power void.

The Afghan war is UNWINNABLE. END IT NOW. It was illegal and Osama Bin Forgotten was NEVER THERE. Osama Bin Dead-in-2003 wasn't even killed in Pakistan

Bush already made the date anyway just like the the date for the end of the Iraq war that Obama takes credit for! So what! On top of that, drone strikes no longer count as war actions since they are not boots on the ground!

I must note though, I really wonder if that is the reasoning of all the people that continue to vote for politicians that bring us more War! Like in 2008, the GOP selected McCain (who was all about bombing Iran) over Paul (who is all about talking to Iran). And the people will re-elect Obama, eventhough he did nothing but perpetuate the wars...We have a long ways to go as Humans my friend!
