Remixers Rise Ashen, Jephte Guillaume, Boddhi Satva & Trinidadian Deep rise to the challenge and each deliver truly inspired re-interpretations. Rise Ashen's Morning Come remix was the first remix of Piri Wango Iya signed to gotsoul, and also the mix that inspired Mike 'Fu' Fresco (gotsoul records owner) to take this project to his partner jojoflores to consider for release. They released it as a limited edition white label promo and although It was not immediately embraced by many purists in the dep house community, many world beat, afrobeat and nu-jazz heads were tripping on Rise Ashen's remix. Very soon this same remix would be championed by the legendary Louie Vega, a massive supporter of forward thinking quality afro-latin sounds (he even featured Rise Ashen's Morning Come on his MAW IN DA HOUSE mix cd on Defected records).
