Universal access is the promise of HIV prevention, treatment and care for all. Despite progress, most mothers and babies in the developing world who need treatment arent receiving it. Achieving universal access means closing the gap between those who get care and those who dont.
This short video notes some key advances made toward achieving universal access, and looks at a few of the areas where there is still work to be done.
