One can only come to God when they are drawn by Him. It seems as yet you haven't been drawn to encounter He Who is alive, otherwise you comments would be more accurate. What the Francisco's are singing about it a historical proof that defies being owned by any denomination, and is something that countless millions have encountered. this is a wonderful wonderful song, I just have to cry every time I hear it. I just live it with the song, and at the end when the crescendo of music is building up for the lines, He's alive, he's alive, it just makes cold chills go all over me...love it !

As a teen this song taught me how Jesus really loved me.Many of Don's songs brought Bible stories alive for me.I used to play his albums over &over.Now at 50,I still get excited about Jesus in this song.
'pastrychef'-I don't know the ans. but I do know that these that ministry to us with their gifts are just like us,only going to Heaven bec they've accepted Jesus' payment for their sins &many times needing forgiveness.We should pray for them &be thankfl our lives aren't on 'a big screen'.
