Boy and Mantis

My son loves praying mantis, we get lots of them every year. This one is getting pretty big :) Video was taking with a pixeet fisheye lens for the iphone4, so that it can focus really close to the subject. Despite looking a bit dangerous, these mantis are completely harmless to us, and rely on camouflage. Oh I play with the little praying mantis myself, but those big ones.. their cool, but I won't pick them up like that... I had one lock onto my hand rather than just crawl into my hand, scared me shitless.
