Strymon El Capistan & EHX Freeze Jam

recorded after a few hours of the El Capistan arriving.. this bit was recorded after i had tweaked the pedal (a lot) to get the sound i liked so the video is a tad blurry because the camera was running out of battery!

Strymon El Capistan verdict? amazing. very.. very.. amazing. being able to control how quickly the repeats fade out, the amount of tape crinkle, tone roll off, low end cut, wow & flutter etc is really a god-send for someone who uses delay a lot. most 'standard' delay pedals have their idiosyncracies which make them unique, but the Strymon basically gives you control of everything you need.

i haven't even gotten into adding the spring reverb yet.

hey i didnt watch all your videos with this pedal but are you able to make the regeneration/feedback go on infinitely with this pedal? (also.. i too dig the post-rock style tunes :D)
