  • rallyivan1234 - I don't understand your comment. I merely posted the video, even though I'm nothing to do with this performance. Neil Murray

  • Wow, how can he use the whammy bar like that and still stay in tune?

  • Why do people have to compare musician to musician, is it for a sense of validation? Hey! If you're breathing, you're validated. 99% of the people couldn't hold Jeff's pick, because he doesn't use one.

    It's not an image.

It's what you get after supporting Villa for too long.

Still a great violinist, whatever the pigeon-hole you wanna put him in!

  • jeff beck wishes he was hank marvin

  • 5 People are unable to listen to the different guitar solo...put Jeff together with any great musican - and the result will be enormous like here...just open your ears, guys!!!!

  • @yanbx1973 Buddy Love blows them out of the water.

  • @StellaFan1 There are lots of classical musicians who have crossed this boundary, and have done so far better than Nigel Kennedy. Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman and Amy Lee and are just a few such examples

As classical violinists go, Kennedy is OK, but I much prefer people like Hilary Hahn, Julia Fischer and Itzhak Perlman - no gimmicks but just pure musical genius. Kennedy's "The Sid Vicious of classical music" image may have had some novelty value once, but the novelty has long worn off for me now.

Jeff's Strat goes to twelve and beyond. No capos on the amp.
