@bifflarken The ability to bundle a project together with its source audio for easy portability isn't a built-in feature of FMOD Designer 2010, but as you can set the audio source directory to be a relative location, it is possible to move your project in the way you suggest - or you can just keep your source audio folder and project file in the same folder, and move that.
I doubt animation studio use FMOD as it is best used for real time stuff like games, and animation is a linear media.
You can transfer FMOD project between different users and different machines, just ensure the FMOD project and all the sound files used in it are in the same folder. Easy :-)
@ffgfgfgddfgdf Without knowing for sure, I would think that there's either an option to zip up everything in one portable file or folder, or perhaps the paths are relative (meaning that if you say put it in the 'sounds' folder that's in the same folder as your project, even if you move your project, if you have a sounds folder, it'll work there.) Just a guess, though.
Oh my God ! slow down, I can't follow a third of a phrase without pausing!
Beside that I guess this is the first good tutorial about FMOD I find. The ones on their site are full of gaps, impossible for a beginner to get to the same result.
Stephan, this video series is fantastic. Thank you very much for putting in the time and effort to put these together.

Stephan - thank you for this video! Does anyone know if animation studios like Pixar or Dreamworks, utilize FMOD ?
