In honor of President Lincoln's birthday, February 12th, I thought I'd post this video of his namesake, the Lincoln Mark VIII. When Henry Leland started Lincoln Motor Company in 1917, he named it after our famous President. This Lincoln has the monochromatic trim all the way around, an elegant leather interior, and a 32 Valve DOHC 4.6 V8 under the hood. These cars really do offer luxury and performance in one complete package. Perhaps it would be the choice of our beloved President, if he were still alive today. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

  • I have the same car,98 LSC love it. I gave my pearl white to nephew. This car was ahead of its time.

  • @MEGABOINK65 I've always been a fan of them too. They sure look great in that pearl white. Thanks for taking a look at this one.

  • Beauty - I just bought my Canadian version with 71,000kms = 45,000 miles and clean CarProof for much less. Love the car - it's the shyte. Rock on with the Mark VIII.

  • @TheWheelman1970 They're awesome cars.....it's cool that you found one with such low mileage on it. Thanks for checking this one out.

  • I have a 1997 identical to this one. I paid that same price but with 52,000 miles on it. In two years I've put an additional 10,000 miles on it with no major problems at all. Believe it or not I got about 29 miles per gallon average on a trip from metro Detroit to northern Michigan. I LOVE these cars!!! There's something about the sound from this particular V8 engine that is just so enjoyable to listen to.

  • @lampshade43 I agree completely, those are some great engines. I love how they sound when you really get on them. Thanks for watching!

I have one, got her for a grand off of my mother, she's seen some war with a few dings in the back.. and some computer issues.. but I got her that way. looking to fix her up but not sure where to start looking online (I'm 20/in college/poor as fuck). This is going to be my first restoration project that I complete, simultanious with a 1985 El Camino that will take me a few more years. anyone know where I can look for the info and some good guides to get started?
