@emogirl78 I think it's more "genetic". Drinking while pregnant causes other diseases. Does it cause alcoholism ? I don't know...

some people get the craving to drink cause before they were born,maybe their parents drank alcohol so they get cravings and start drinking,like me cause my parents drank before i was even thought of but i havent drank but i get huge craving for alcohol

I am personnaly under baclofen for alcoholism, at the dose of 280 mg a day. You should read a book called "the end of my addiction" written by Olivier Ameisen. If yous can read french you're welcome on our website (check the profile of the poster)

thank you, im about to go to the doctor asking for baclofen for my alcoholism and i was planning on asking about its general effect on addiction. i have been drinking heavily for 3 years and smoking pot for 15. i was going to ask the doctor about potential effects. Your cocaine aspect has lifted my hopes. tomorrow is the big day now.
