  • HEY! i'm fat and i ride :(

  • Hi Buddy, Sorry about the "fat" comment. That was my first YT Vid and I got a little excited. I didn't intend to be mean. I've seen a lot of "fat" guys that kicked my butt out on the trails. I really meant to find someone with some weight to help push the seat down. Have a wonderful day, Mel

  • @MegaMel10 Hahaa no big deal i was just kidding, plus i sorta like being the big guy who rides because people are usually like WOW that fat kid can ride ahaha

  • Hi, Thanks for your follow-up note. It's all cool. Great to hear that you're out there gettin' with the program. I just go back from riding my DR650 3,000 miles down Baja and back. We started in Yuma, AZ. Rode 1,000 miles of dirt and the rest on pavement. Have a super day, Mel

  • Love your energy! loved the vid

    You have a great day

    Cheers

  • Hi, Thanks a bunch for the feedback. I rode the KTM up the Captain Jacks trail here in Colorado Springs yesterday and had a blast. Have a super day, Mel

  • fat ass freinds lol

  • Hi, I just did a lot of riding around the Yucatan in Mexico. Lot's of salt spray and rust on my chain. You could use a wire brush on it first. For O-ring chains, you can't get oil into the bearings of the chain so you only need to oil it occasionally to lube surfaces that slide and a bit of lube on the sprockets to help wear between the rollers and sprocket. Any oil will work for that. For non O-ring chains, use chain oil. I like the Harbor Freight or other low cost brands. Mel

  • any ideas on how to get rust off a chain? It's not alot just a little here and there. Also can you reccomend a lube?? thanks

  • Hi, Time for some Math practice. 1 in back is 1/41 or about 2.5%. Adding 4 - 6 teeth in back would be 10 - 15% - much better. One less in front is what we usually do but I don't think you can go less than 10 teeth, right? Mel
