  • lol you would never think that he knows how to kill you with a sai !

  • i prefer the tonfa

  • @Delroxorz Consider the intent of the movement and also other applications of that movement to expand sai training. A punch with a sai's pommel has the same *intent* as a one-knuckle punch. Pulling back the arm from a block is the same *movement* as grabbing and pulling in someone's arm. Think: "How can I replicate this attack?" and also think "What else can this movement be used for?" The first shows a reason to train in these weapons and the other shows the value of kata to teach secret moves.

  • The sai isn't practical because you're not going to be carrying them with you unless you're on your way to/from the dojo. If you have sai with you normally, you're clearly expecting trouble which means you should rethink why you're going out at all. A roll of quarters or a pen is a more practical weapon because they are inconspicuous and subtle. If you see someone with a pair of sai, you're going to be on guard, but a pen or a roll of change? Perfectly normal to carry and easy to overlook.

  • or if you have a sword you can stab the person, because the nature of the metal will damage the person

  • the fat dojo , i wanna join

  • @moondaughtervanessa oh yeah thats right!

  • @mkjredemption you kinda spelled Elektra wrong...but I agree, it would be nice if people used the right terms when teaching...

  • @jamiirali1 you should watch the Mummy Returns, there's a fight scene with sai against sai

    =)

  • kung-fu pandas ;)
