  • Thank you for posting this clip. I so remember Mrs. Shufflewick from the time i lived and worked in London. I am happy to say that he is remembered on the new Comedy Carpet in Blackpool.

  • I remember Mrs Shufflewick on radio and on the halls in the fifties. Rex was a massive star who,although he couldn't swear, still managed to get some double entendre past the authorities.

    Rex made and drank away a fortune and It was good to see this little piece of his work.

    I don't think it's Marc Fleming.

    However, Marc and Shuff would often perform on the same show at the Black Cap on Sunday. The Black Cap would be packed. Those were wonderful days.

  • Brilliant, Shuff was a one off, worked with him a couple of times, and he appeared at The Cabal Club, Frith Street W1, where I compered during the 1970's, loads of fond memories xx
