Cut the dude some slack he was shot repeatedly. Even with armour on that'd knock the wind out of your sails. And he still got up and made a last go of it.

Wether you think he was a good or a bad guy is another argument altogether.

I agree with you inkmagnet, apart from his last film (Batman) I've been dissapointed with all of his films.....& the imaturity he displayed in public like spitting on the paprazzi & always giving the middle finger when spotted being photographed.

omg my granddad was called ned kelly for short (ned was his nick name) SWWEEETTTT .=3 and if ned kelly (Outlaw) had that armour helm he would be pritty death in the ears.

I also did not like this film. The trailer showed it had potential but the delivery was just bad.

Well there you go. The film took out ll the politics associated with the character. I think he was more than "just a crook". You can't deny he tried to start a revolution. At least in the Mick Jagger, Ned Kelly they show his army that he rode out to during the seige. In this one he just spends the night having a lie down. The film lacked drama.

I thought this movie was really bad and was bitterly dissapointed. But it seems to be very popular overseas so that's something.

you're right, in my opinion the film doesn't show very well the life of Ned Kelly,but well.
