  • Excellent vid. I am going to do both of these on my 2003 x5. Now I have much more info thanks to you.

  • @W806D Well you're welcome!

  • Question: after removed the cv join I need an alignment ? Thanks for you time.

  • @javierr1blue Only if your camber is off. You can mark the strut bolts before taking them off. If the camber is good then you're fine. If Camber changes it can affect toe angle and sometimes caster a little.

  • Thanks for Posting video! Great tips. Easy to loosen axle nut when the car wheel is on the ground, (pop off BMW wheel cap). Driver side was easier, no need to pull aluminum plate if you have the right pry bar(as in video). Gotta do the water pump on it next.

  • @JustLiveITtv You're welcome.

  • @dwhite832003 It's the blue pill take the blue pill! Just kidding. Some have one, some have the other. Depends on the engine, X3 or X5 and what year it is. You can mic it with calipers if you're just going to buy one socket like for your own car.

  • I have read the collar nut calls for a 36 mm 12 point socket... so wich is it???

  • @thanuja48 likewise.

  • Thanks for posting
