  • whats the best way to get backlinks

  • When your site is unique, fresh and informative and promote it in relevant places (Youtube vids, Twitter, other social networking sites, etc.) people will link to you voluntarily. That's what happened to me. I don't spend time looking for backlinks, I just write content, do videos, promote my stuff and the backlinks grow organically.

  • Hi Lisa!

This is a little off topic, but I was wondering how long it took you to learn HTML. I ask because I am having such a hard time, and want to know if anyone else has had to struggle with that.

Also, did you have to learn any other coding languages. If so what are they?

    Thanks in advance =]

  • It didn't take me long to pick up the basics of HTML but it took me a more time to learn CSS. Go to my other channel called 2createawebsite and I have a 4-part CSS tutorial with a template you can download and I walk you through how to edit that template.

  • Lisa, when do you think you will go HD?

  • My last 10 or 15 vids are in HD. This one was just uploaded so it takes a sec for YouTube to process and show the HD button.

  • I have a thought about submitting to a directory. We as webmasters are submitting sites to the directories to hopefully get increased page rank and traffic.

But, what regular user is going to go on a directory to find a site? They use a search engine, not a directory to find sites or niches.

  • I agree with you, nobody needs to pay large sums of money just to get their site indexed in Google and Yahoo.I use Scrub The Web,where for a small fee you can auto submit your site yourself.I am lucky because all my sites ARE in Google, including my new custom URLS. Andrea.

  • Just One Soft Kiss and I'll ease up a little, promise;) ... Someone should do something
