chinese new year festival in lu-er-men's ming era temple
this one is dedicated to matsu, the sea godess
and gets very busy during the new year festivities
when i decided to join my teacher/friend and her mates
i had no idea that there would be firecrackers
the purpose of which is to ward off the bad spirits
i was rather stunned and felt very foolish when the firecrackers came my way
as i'd resisted the yanshui madness the whole 3 years that i lived in tainan!
luermen proved to me beyond any reasonable doubt that it was for the best
dog of the year 2006
