The final results really are misleading. How on Earth they decide who will be judges is beyond me. A Soap actor who has no clue about food and sounds drugged most of the time, and a farm advocate.

Michael Smith deserved far better results than he got, though Bobby Flay was the deserved winner. I just think a statement like "HE GOT WHOOOPED" is a little unfair and one sided.

I knew going in that strategy was key. You're dealing with unrefined American pallets. Rob Feenie won because he had the right ingredient and a Japanese opponent. American judges would pick him every time. Michael Smith challenged himself and ran up against judges who simply don't understand real food. America, I love you, you gave the world Ron Paul. But culinarily, you make no sense to me. For politics, you used to rule. For food, I'll look to Canada or Europe.

If you want arrogance go speak to some of the iron chefs. I can guarentee you that Bobby Flay isnt the best at what he does in America. The best probably decided that working was much more important than some cooking competition, its why you dont see ramsey or anthony bourdain on iron chef.

Flay won against the japanese iron chef who had 20 years on him, was cooking in his style and HAD NEVER LOST A FISH COMPETITION BEFORE IN HIS 40 YEARS OF CUISINE

kind of reminds me of when my cousin came from the states and we had fries and i think burgars. he couldnt imagine having gravy and dressing on french fries and thought just the idea of it was disgusting.
