For me, the series gets a 2 out of 5. It would have been good but some elements of the series really brought down the quality of the viewing experience. I do not see myself watching the entire series again even on DVD. A lot of things could have been done properly. For example, the guy-in-suit robot should have matched the CGI robot by not being too detailed and organic-looking.

Watch a bit of it and they really need to cut out the angst and drama from the story and focus on the real meat of a Tokusatsu which is action. Tokusatsu are light on story and heavy on action. Fire the current writers and hire a good Hong Kong fight choreographer and focus more on creative battles on every episode. Also for goodness sakes I wish they haven't RESUED the names and terminology from the Original Shaider, (fuma, Alexis etc) it just made this series feel more like a poor copy.

ang zaido ay napakabahong umaalingasaw na nabubulok na basura. binaboy ng gma 7 ang paborito kong palabas nung araw.

baka naman talagang nang-aasar lang ang gma o kya gustong magpatawa kaya ginawa tong zaido?!! nakakahiya sa ibang bansa lalo na sa japan.

till when are we going to say that the phils can't keep up with that of japan and USA? heck, thailand made their tokusatsu called "sport ranger", china has "armor hero" and korea has "rayforce". i'm a filipino and it's so sad. but if you ask me, i can think of 1 improvent for zaido and GMA blew it.

Ok you again, listen heres the thing: You cant put Zaido And Toei side by side. Zaido is a Novella, and its the best Tokunovela ever and the only Novela I ever like (Im spanish). Is it better than Toei or Toho or even TOMY?? HELL NO but compared to the other sappy mexican crap, I give it 5 stars :) Better than watching "AY DIOS MIOOOOZ" for an hour ~_~
