This and the 777-300ER are today's quietest planes. Compare it with the dreadful CF6/RB211 powered 747 which really deafens.

Really enjoyed the video. Amazing those huge flaps.

Engines are near silent, but those flaps/slats are as loud as heck.

ok A380 is awesome! but one thing I was dissapointed was that when you're taking off, its really quiet. One of the main reasons I enjoy flying is hearing the sound of those engines :D

mwahahha im going to take the A380 for the first time at the end of this month (October), Zurich to Singapore! cant wait they are by far the best airline ive ever taken (best in the world). keep it up :D dont forget to save me a seat when you get your first space ship! this thing is huge!
