Blacksmith at Dunham Hill Smithy

The Dunham Hill Smithy nr Frodsham in Cheshire, were commissioned to manufacture of large set of bespoke hand forged double gates. In this video you will see the Blacksmith hand forging a large scroll to be added to the large gates that he is working on. Yes, the gates were hand forged in our Smithy, we specialise in hand forged gates. Type in Dunham Hill Smithy on Google and follow the links and you will find pictures of our work including our large hand forged gates of which these were the 27th set we've manufactured, sorry to disappoint!

The Forge is in an old Smithy which has stood since pre 1900.

The structure of the forge is amazing! It's the largest I've ever seen. I wish I could make a brick one, but I live in the city, so I have to stick with metal so it will be light enough to carry.
