Learned this one from my RKC, David Whitley (www.irontamer.com). Great to help improve mobility of the hips. The important point is to try and maintain the normal curvature of your low back when you do this and work into a good range without tensing up.
Most of my patients/clients hate to do it but love the benefits it brings.
@corbinzacfan : Hi there, did you improve since then please ? And does being able to do this stretch touching the ground mean you can do the straddle split ? Also How long did it take you to make 3cm to the ground with this stretch ? Thanks

Try that frog stretch with both legs flat on the ground out to the sides: If you can do it. Some people sit up in that position: with both legs bent out to the sides: Not everyone can do that though!!
