This is merely a storgae facility where 747s are mantained and modified, some are scraped for parts so that other like the Dream lifter and Super tanker can be built.

Cash for clunker program, even a airline company can recieve $4500 from the aircraft they trade in and go with the most fuel effecy newer aircraft. :P

That's a depressing place. I've personally witnessed the last flight of a 737 on it's last approach into there. I thought maybe they'd go around once for ol times sake or cock the wings on the way in. Nothing doing.
