A joyless man who's life is being extinguished by the daily grind receives an unexpected visit from a childhood friend.

This is our entry for the Christian FIlmmaker's 24 Hour Contest. Elements used - guitar, mismatched socks, baseball, line: "That better not be what I think it is".

This movie tied for 7th out of 71 entries.

  • We squeezed a seven-minute plot into the three-minute contest limit. I agree... it could have been clearer.

    Hopefully we'll learn from our mistakes and do better next time

  • I liked the technical aspect of the movie, but didn't really get the story. Good job though.

  • Good job with the technicals. The "noise" in the sound came in and out, which was distracting. Layering a little ambient noise from the car running would help smooth that out.

    I'm not sure where the story goes from here: I gave up big dreams when I became a Chrsitian; I let God drift out of my life; now I need to regain child-like faith. Fair enough (except for the dropped dreams bit), but now what? I want more! I'd love to see the sequel when it comes out. Keep it up! -Luke
