@MickeyMouseBrat , Hello im watching this video you previously commented on. You asked if the owner was willing to sell his Alliance Auto Tenna-Rotor. Now this was 2 years ago, but ive got one, Are you still looking to purchase one?

That's the same kind of rotor we used to have back before we had cable.

Yeah!

The Thumbs up at the end made it all worth watching!

wow....i remember my grandfather had one of these on his TV set. I thought that was the most space age, mystical, futuristic thing I had ever seen
-
would you consider selling that rotor...am looking for that particular style.....if so how much

I wish they made one for a two inch boom and would turn a set of 11 meter beams. Then I would only need one coax and one swr problem.

I wonder how many million of these have been sold? In the midwest, that is what everyone installed with their tv antenna. They made good rotors, too, for use on lightweight ham antennas. 73 Frank
Thats the smallest antenna I've ever seen

LOL. That is just a piece of wire to show the rotor movement...

You will have problems stopping the antenna array or keeping it from moving due to no brake in the rotor. It doesn't take much horizontal weight to turn this rotor when its not "energized". It will work well with a small beam, especially if the antenna is well balanced. (weight wise) 73 de w4cgr

Hi there, the rotor is indeed weak, and sure it will move a VHF/UHF small beam for satellite work. The brake is fine, the motor turns the rotor thru a worm type gear and it will destroy the gears before it moves. 73 Rod
