Well... honestly... I am not about to dedicate 5 years of life learning Classical Arabic so that I could attempt to write a book similar to the Quran ... especially when I guess it would be dismissed out of hand by Muslims because of the confirmation bias that no book can be similar to the Quran so therefore it is impossible that I could have accomplished it, even if I did.

Side Question : How does the Book of Mormon compare to book that is similar to the Quran?

@NYCAustinNYC Yes I would stop being a Muslim. It says in the Quran that it is impossible. If anyone were able to do so, it would mean the Quran is unrue; I would not follow something that was proven to be untrue. There are criteria about how to judge. I agree judgesshould independent. It should be apparant that they are similar in quality say like people are saying Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are similar, and not like comparing 'Lord of the Rings' to 'Peter Pan'.

Muhammad lived in Mecca, one of the key trading cities of the time. Could not have Muhammad learned from traders that sailed the ocean?

I really do not know what to make of the high esteem that Muslims hold the Quran. I have read it, and found it a silly, repetitive, and badly written.

@NYCAustinNYC The perfection of the book, along with its linguistic prowess (obviously perceivable only by scholars of the language) is what makes it unique. As an example, its factual correctness is astounding, especially for something in existence for almost 1500 years. It describes the nature of the ocean (the Prophet never saw the sea in his life) with such detail that has only become apparent through science recently.

What so weird about understanding 'Quran has been changed by a woman' (if that so what it is all about) because in other hand Zayd name (adopted son of prophet Muhammad) was also mentioned in Quran and this does not mean Quran has been changed by Zayd? Many verses in Quran were revealed step by step according to what happen at that time so that peoples at that time know what is all mean by those verse, and the verses covered all aspect of our life amazingly until now.
