Was stationed at the air base 88-90 & found the local area & people to be great! I really miss the laid back no stress lifestyle and the pristine snow in winter.
Really neat! I haven't been in Gwinn/ New Swanzy since August 1963. My wife and I had a TV / Radio repair shop in New Swanzy at the corner of what now seems to be M35 and N.Billings street. Was an IGA store across the street now Beauchamp Plumbing. The shop now is a house with a garage built on. We lived in the second building in from M35 on N.Billings. Looks really run down now. Your videos saved me a trip back to see the area. Ex K I Sawyer AFB also Thanks
Lived there from 92-95 when I was stationed at KI Sawyer. Thanks for sharing. There was a sub sandwhich place there that had the best bread and the best sandwhiches I ever had, never found a place better since leaving. Forget the name of the place, thought it was something like "Our Place", not sure. Wonder if it is still there.

Nice looking town, I'm going up there in July for a Dual sport ride. I was hoping to find videos of the trails up there. Not having much luck though.
