Israel Palestine and Nidal Rafa's Verbal Assault on Danny Ayalon

Danny Ayalon explains to the discredited, former CNN reporter Nidal Rafa that the population of the West Bank and Gaza were involved in ongoing terror well before 1967. The claim that terror is a form of self defence as a result of occupation glaringly misses this well made and essential historical point. Terror was well under way well before Palestinian Nationalism came to the Fore. There was never any Palestinian state to liberate. However while Israel recognises Palestinian rights to a state, not one Palestinian leader accepts the right of the Jews to have a Jewish state for the Jewish nation, the Jewish people. This hypocrisy continues to pervade the debate amongst Palestinians at all levels.

I would add to Danny's statement that there was terror long before 1948. We remember the Arab killings of Jews and attacks in 1936, the Hebron massacre of 1929, two of the more notable atrocities in the period leading up to independence.
