A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 darkly satirical science fiction film adaptation of Anthony Burgess's 1962 novel of the same name. The film concerns Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell), a charismatic, psychopathic delinquent whose pleasures are classical music (especially Beethoven), rape, and ultra-violence.

Well from a moralist's perspective, free will is absolutely essential for humanity. If mankind's ability to choose is taken away from them, any chance at redemption is gone forever. Not even god can remove a path to salvation.

From a different viewpoint, the alternative to creating "Clockwork Oranges" like Alex is awaiting the inevitable, which happens to be murder and ultra-violence. It's a tricky question and it's certainly worth analyzing both the film and the novel in great detail.

If any one knows the show Kenny vs Spenny, this tune is used in many scenes, mainly when Kenny is doing something REALLY diabolical.

This is one of those films that changes you. It is a masterpiece and my favorite besides 2001: A Space Odyssey (Also a Kubrick film), yet I stay cautious on never seeing it again.
