Wow. Woke up this morning, went downstairs first thing to try again and it worked perfectly. The problem was I wasn't really pulling the things apart as I pulled it out. It came out so easily on the first try. Thanks man.

Sorry, I do no aftermarket installation. I'd suggest visiting several of your local installation shops. You will quickly find out who knows their stuff and who is just looking to make a sale. Good luck!

Coat hanger bent to shape, four nails, but nothing makes the job easier than the right tool!

There are usually two fuses for the car stereo. One located in the passenger compartment, under the dash driver's side. Second, under the hood near the vehicle's battery. Check ALL fuses, only one is labeled for the car stereo.

If you have a set of din removal tools, sometimes putting a slight bend into the tool will help catch the clip.

On a '99 Sable I can engage the clips on the right side but not the left. I can feel the tool skip over the clip. Would it help to "knife edge" the end of the tool? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Where did you get the Ford Radio removal tool from?
