in line with equality for both genders, shouldn't women be included in the draft?

@YoungnRomantic Yep, it's chickenshit on the part of women.

This is on point 100%.

@lillie1990am This is y women never want equality because they know that men will hold their fet to the fire so they claim discrimination as a way to get out of it

@andsanp In Israel it is mandatory that when men and women turn 18 must serve in the military for 2 years. This is written in stone and no one can chicken out. This is proof that women can serve if it is insisted upon. This proves that women should be drafted along with the men. The only exception would be if a soldier were to get pregnant she would get 3 months off and go back for an additional 3 months beyond her original tour. This would also discourage getting pregnant until appropriate.

@patriciacarrasco But then what about the situation where a woman is ill with cancer and wont survive a pregnancy but chemo will kill the child? Even if people take your approach, that situation is a possibility. What's actually needed by society is to recognise both the rights of the parents and rights of the child- leading to a place where the worlds needs to look at putting in the research to make the artificial womb a reality (really just an advanced version of a humidicrib).

@Bowspearer this is precisely why "sexual freedom" is more like "sexual slavery" because look at all these problems. and please dont come with "use condoms and everything will be ok". this is the reason abortion exists because obviously they dont work , or people dont use them. u cant prevent pregnancy! i wish people would connect the dots and start being realistic instead of idealistic and beleiving what society spews out.

Pregnant choice is the females, and yeh I am not for total equality f-- that. Male and female are physically different and cant be true equals- ever --some things man is better at some woman is some both can be good at but still we got differences. If you believe otherwise youre warped mentally. Not saying its right for her to not consider her mates wishes...

Very very good video. The last line just hit the nail right on the head.

2/2 As such, it should not be about the man's plans or desires or the woman's plans or desires, but about those of the child. If we wish to have sexual freedom for both men and women, then the flip side of that is mandatory parental responsibilty should any pregnancy apply. I realise that wasn't exactly what was being debated, but I felt that it was important to include this for the sake of contextualisation regarding the issue.

1/2 In a way Paul, I agree with you and disagree with you at the same time. I agree with most of your criticism of the assessment of chivalry coming into the issue. However I do have ot argue against the idea of choice when it comes to children, men and women. Paternity issues aside, if a man and a woman have intercourse and a pregnancy results then as much as our relativistic society might wish otherwise, a child is born- it is not a piece of goods which can be returned.
Not sure who this guy is but its always good to teach a greater lesson as you've done.
