Landing at Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport (LFPG). You can observe practical use of the thrust reversers that are to reduce aircraft's speed just after touch-down. EasyJet, Airbus A319-111, flight from Marrakech, Morocco.

  • that is the weirdest reverse thrust door ive ever seen!!

  • What kind of CFM-56 is this? I haven't seen that type of reverse on that engine type before...

  • @Sterlingjob yeah you're right, it's to save fuel. (budget airlines! :S)

  • i love the pop-out reversers on the a319 and a340. they are loud fu**ers when they're on full reverse!

  • its like the engines been asleep and its opening its eye to have a peek where its landed

  • after watching this i want to wear a lot of warm clothes...

  • The engines are CFM-56.

  • @Sterlingjob oh ok, thx

  • @woodshuck Its the same thing! The brakes do all the work on landing and the open clamshell just helps a small amount unless driver adds power to the engine
