@hierophant0209 No Sir you are totally WRONG !! This is a Nepali music... The HARMONY is from Nepali Kayastha's culture and it has a touch of Buddhism from the HIMALAYAS. the HARMONY is nothing like Indian .. SO please DON'T embarrass us saying this is an INDIAN music.. LEAVE US ALONE>. you have got enough rival to play with ..... WE ARE HAPPY WITH IT>>>> SAYING YOURS WILL NOT MAKE IT YOURS YOU HAVE TO OWN IT and this NEPALI guy owned it for his mother land NEPAL.. <3

@hierophant0209 , there is a myth in the west that everything that sounds/looks South Asian is Indian. That's wrong. So please note that this is Nepali music.

@silentrocker As if is there is a big difference between Nepali and Indian ! Yes Nepali has it's own identity but, no more than any other Indian traditional culture that is part of the same root ancient Vedic culture. No need to forget the roots and the obvious very tight connection in the present day. I am Indian and have several Nepali friends and have a better than average knowledge about the great similarities !

@matrixkarja, big fish always tend to eat smaller ones. Hence, we prefer to state that we are a distinct culture. We are the melting pot of Hinduism and Buddism. While we also do have roots in Vedic culture, the Mongoloid culture has its own distinct identity. Hence, Nepali culture is a diffusion of many cultures. Please do not take it personally.

@raphaellb1,
Its a Nepali flute called "Bansuri" played up in the mountains and valleys of the Himalayas. It is also widely played in some parts of India.
