I rarely get a chance to hear altered music but when it's good as this...........I cant explain it...it gives you tears and chill up the spine ; )

not really sure if this is an altered mix, if anything it could be "unaltered"

The backing vocals are a lot closer to the surface in this mix, including the whispering and talking. What sounds like a flanger on the lead vocal is more pronounced. There's some kind of additional, very fast, very brief delay effect in the percussion that's different but I can't quite put my finger on it. I really think this mix more effectively captures the dream-like chaos of the song more than the final master they used for Basement.

this was put in the song during its recording, it was not put in as some sort of rememberance for elliott whatsoever
