Prelude by Johann Sebastian Bach performed by violinist Jason Issokson, who studies under Midori at the USC Thornton School of Music. This is at the 2008 Clyde Montgomery Concert at Shumei Hall, Pasadena.
This concert honors the late Clyde Montgomery, one of the Shumei Arts Council's foremost board members and one of its staunchest supporters. He was committed to encouraging young talent in the arts, and the Arts Council long has been dedicated to providing a musical venue for young people in the greater Los Angeles and Pasadena communities. With this concert named in Clyde's honor, the Shumei Arts Council will provide Shumei Hall in Pasadena as a platform for young musicians pursuing careers in concert music. This event features some of the best student classical chamber music groups, providing a showcase for the nation's newest young talent.
