hey if u rub your perfume it wont last as long. u can dab but dont rub. just spray on both wrist.

I craft my own fragrances. The reason the lotion helps it last longer is it actually slow down the evaporation rate. In perfumery, base notes, are considered the longest lasting...those are thicker in viscosity and therefore do not evaporate quickly like thinner oils. So, she is correct. Her idea will make your fragrance last longer.
