I just tried the hot water technique on my Jirsa. Luckily it slipped right on the smaller lip/bit. I might have to try the (gross) saliva technique on the mario grandi. haha

I am slowly building up my collection. Could you do a video on bowl maintenece. Like when to ream and how to reem. I am starting to get some cake build up in my pipes and I am not really sure how far to let it go or how to reem the bowl itself. Also could you explain the importance of having different pipes for different tobaccos. Like the importance of having a pipe just for aeromatics and stuff like that.

Good idea. I just view a pipe as something very personal. Bites are just a part of it being yours. I could never really see wanting to own a pipe someone else has smoked. Just me. it;s like fruit; once you buy (smoke) it its yours.

and you can also put rubbing alcohol on the tip too... makes it really secure

That's similar to what I do. I just throw the softy bit in my mouth and chew on it a bit. Get the saliva going. Wolfeman
